JUNIOR SPRING SEASON
Junior Spring Season is the Hawks' flagship program.
Its goal is to bring hockey to a wide and inclusive group while having as much fun as possible.
The program is open to girls and boys of age groups U5 to U18, and it runs from April to June (exact start and finish dates published here closer to start of season).
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 JUNIOR SPRING SEASON IS NOW OPEN
There are three main goals we aim to achieve each year with the Junior Spring Season:
Fun and engaging – practices are aimed at developing athlete's skills in both individual and team contexts while promoting a lifelong engagement with the sport.
Non-streamed – players of all abilities learn to cooperate as a group. New players are welcomed and stronger players are encouraged to take on mentoring roles in a team environment.
Volunteer powered – Hawks has a great history of community support and our volunteers are crucial to the running of the Club. Each spring season we count on dozens of parents, players, coaches and umpires to volunteer their time to help provide the best experience possible for our junior players.

2025 Fees
Program Fees
Field Hockey BC (FHBC) Fees
Vancouver Hawks players are required to register and pay fees directly with FHBC rather than within the Hawks registration system. This change will simplify the administration of fees for our club and help reduce errors, ensuring each member has a valid FHBC #. The FHBC # is important as it provides your insurance coverage for any sanctioned field hockey activity in BC.
FHBC fees are valid until August 31 of the current season (purchased now, memberships are valid until August 31, 2023). FHBC membership is required before you begin any Hawks program. They are valid for any FHBC-member program including at other clubs and FHBC/FHC programs. In order to register for all Hawks programs, proof of FHBC registration will be required in the form of an uploaded copy of the receipt.
FHBC registration is available here (start the process by searching for your existing #, which stays with you each year):
