Our senior program features weekly training sessions led by professional coaches, along with competitive games against other Vancouver-area clubs.
The Hawks offer senior teams across a range of levels—from high-performance Premier squads to more relaxed recreational options—so players can find the right fit for their experience and goals.
Women’s teams are grouped by age into adult or junior-focused divisions.*
Men’s senior teams include a dynamic mix of players aged 14 to 80, blending both adult and junior athletes.*

Below is our pre-season practice and player assessment schedule. Please attend the sessions appropriate for the team your are interested in joining (we understand you may not be available for all team sessions).

Women's Teams
Selected Teams
Hawks Premier
High performance. Hawks Premier is the club’s flagship women’s team, competing in the Premier division in the VWFHA. The top 16 players as selected by the coaches will receive free registration in exchange for 9 hours of volunteer time. The roster will be selected weekly, and a high level of commitment is expected. There is no age restriction on Hawks Premier.
Hawks 1
High performance. Hawks 1 competes in Div 1 of the VWFHA. The roster will be selected weekly, and a high level of commitment is expected. There is no age restriction on Hawks 1.
Selected Adult-Focused Teams
Hawks 2 - Adult Higher Division
Competing in VWFHA Division 2, Hawks 2 is designed for Hawks members 19+ years of age to play at a high level while also developing a social group.
Hawks 4 - Adult Mid-Division
Competing in VWFHA division 4, Hawks 4 is suitable for those who wish to play competitively with their peers and develop a social group.
Hawks 7 - Adult Lower Division
Hawks 7 is suitable for those who wish to develop as players, and play with a competitive spirit balanced with a social and recreational aspect. Hawks 7 also serves as an entry point to league hockey for newer adult players.
Junior-Focused Teams (ages 14-18)
Hawks 3 - Junior Higher Division
Competing in VWFHA div 3, Hawks 3 is designed for juniors wishing to play competitively at a high level while also developing a social group.
Hawks 5 - Junior Mid-Division
Competing in VWFHA div 5, Hawks 5 is designed for juniors to continue to develop their skills while also coming together in a social group.
Hawks 6 - Junior Lower Division
Competing in VWFHA div 6, Hawks 6 is designed for players as they enter the women's league and develop their skills over time, or those wishing to play in a lower division while also coming together in a social group.
Men's Teams
Vancouver Hawks A
Our flagship Men's team, the Hawks A team competes in the Vancouver Men's Field Hockey League Premier division. You must be fully committed at the highest level to play on this team and be able to attend practices and games once a week. You must be invited to join this team.
Vancouver Hawks B
The Hawks B team competes in the Vancouver Men's Field Hockey League Division 1. You must be fully committed to once a week practices and games.
Vancouver Hawks C
The Hawks C team competes in the Vancouver Men's Field Hockey League Division 2. You must be fully committed to practices and games once a week.
Vancouver Hawks D
Vancouver Hawks E
Hawks E play in the rec division of the VMFHL. It is a mix of players of all ages and a place to enjoy and improve your hockey.
