Wendy Ladner-Beaudry inducted in the Sport BC Hall of Fame

Wendy Ladner-Beaudry was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday October 22nd as one of the "In her Footsteps" recipients.

Wendy was recognized as a "Community Builder". Her efforts to include access to sports in low income neighbourhoods was honoured as just one of her many accomplishments.

Wendy was a member of the Hawks Club for over 20 years, playing for the Hawks Premier team in its heyday of the 1980's and 1990's.  Recently she had been a mentor and inspiration on the Hawks 1 and Hawks 2 teams.
