Canadian Men's Team Qualifies for the 2010 World Cup
Congratulations to the Canadian Men's National team. They qualified yesterday by finishing first in the 2009 Pan American Cup. The team earned a berth in the 2010 World Cup held in New Delhi (India) March 2010.
An extra special congratulations to Scott Tupper, Ben Martin, Connor Meakin, Hudson Stewart, Antoni Kindler and Richard Hildreth who all started field hockey with the Hawks Junior program as young boys. And to Dave Carter voted "Best Keeper of the Tournament" who is the current Hawks A goalie.
