Kreuger's rigging of Man of the Match vote overshadows hard-working draw

The C Hawks shamed ourselves and our ancestors with a
disgraceful 1-1 draw against the Panthers on Sunday, September 28th.
Haphazard, aimless play at all positions was not explicitly discussed as a game plan, yet we were somehow all on the same page when it came to embracing that questionable strategy. It would be cheap and mean to single out any amongst the squad, yet I find myself unable to resist mentioning the disastrous dribble-flick of Mike Foxcroft. Foxy deserves our respect for stepping up for that lonely job, but he earned our scorn for his miserable execution. Even our lone goal was a tragic slow-roller that still hasn't made it to the back of the net.

On the plus side, it was a gorgeous sunny day spent amongst friends. None of us copped a serious injury. The world kept turning and Markus rigged the "Man Of The Match" vote. These are the small mercies that will bring us all back next weekend and the weekend after that."
