2009/2010 Senior League Team Placements.

If you wish to play on a Senior Men's or Senior Women's 2009/2010 Season League team you must attend try-outs for Women teams and Summer Fitness and Squad Training for Men teams. All members of the Hawks Club must obtain a Field Hockey BC ID number membership and register with the Hawks Club. If you played field hockey fall 2008/2009 senior league or spring 2009 junior league, your FHBC ID number is the same and you simply need to renew your membership. You will be linked to the Field Hockey BC online membership through the Hawks online registration.
Women's:
We have 6 women's teams in 6 divisions. You will be placed on the appropriate team for your level of play.
***Please Note*** for the 2009/2010 season we will be entering a 7th women's team in the lowest divsion. It will be a team comprised of beginner players, mothers of current juniors or adult players returning to the game after a hiatus. Please contact the Hawks Office or Karen Gilmore, if you are interersted.
Try-outs For 2009
- Premier and 1st Division only: Hamber Field, Tuesday August 25th, 6:00-8:00pm (6:00-6:30pm for registration). Prospective Premier Players must be available to play in a tournament at Wright Field on September 12th and 13th.
- Second division and lower: Hamber Field, Thursday August 27th 5:30-7:30pm (5:30-6pm for registration).
- Players will be contacted by September 4th regarding first team practices they must attend. Team rosters will be finalized by September 14th.
To register for the Women's try-outs please contact the office with your name, e-mail address and phone number and put "women's try-outs" in the subject line.

Men's:
We have 5 men's teams in 3 divisions. You will be placed on the appropriate team for your level of play.
Players wishing to play on the entry level teams (Hawks D and Grey Hawks (Hawks E)) do not need to attend try-outs. However, if you wish to play on the Hawks D team please contact the office and submit your name, birthdate, e-mail address and telephone number. Put "Hawks D"in the subject line.
Players wishing to play on our Premier or First Division teams (Hawks A, B and C) must attend summer squad training or contact the office.
Summer FitnessTraining and Squad Training for Premier and First Division 2009
- Men’s on-field training for all men intending on playing Premier or First Division in the 2009/2010 season will begin Monday August 10th, at Wright Field,7-8:30. Training will continue on all Mondays and Wednesdays at Wright until September 2nd.
- Please contact the office if you are unable to attend the summer training but still wish to be considered for a position on the Hawks A, B or C teams.
