Juniors Playing Senior Fall/Winter League
Juniors wishing to play in the senior league during the fall and winter must be 14 years of age as of 1 January in the year they wish to play. The season begins the first weekend in September and continues until the end of March with a break for Christmas. Players need to be prepared to commit to one practice session during the week and a game each weekend with travel required for away games. Rosters for teams and nominations to the league are done during August, so it is important players contact the Hawks office and attend try-outs.
Boys: Junior boys who wish to play in the men’s league in the fall need to attend tryouts. Club try-outs will be held Thursday August 28th at Eric Hamber 7-9pm. Girls playing Womens league
Juniors Playing Senior Fall/Winter League
Girls: Juniors who are interested in playing in the senior league must try-out. However, note that a position on a team is not guaranteed because there are only a limited number of openings. Juniors who were on senior teams last year and wish to move up a division must also try-out. There will be an Junior ID Camp at the end of the Junior Spring league and Club try-outs at the end of August. The ID camp for 2008 is set for June 18th at Eric Hamber Field 6-8pm. After the ID Camp, juniors will be invited back for one of two try-out sessions; for the Premier and 1st divsion senior teams, Tuesday August 26th at 5:30-8:00 at Eric Hamber and for all other divisons, Thursday August 28th, 5:30-7:30 at Eric Hamber.
