U18 Boys silver medalist at Club Championships
Congratulations to the U18 Boys Hawks team who finished second in the U18 Club Championships on the week-end of May 29-31st. The Hawks Club had gone undefeated in pool play. They played India in the semi finals and beat them 4-1. In the Gold Medal match they were up against the St. Georges team. The Hawks Club took the lead early in the game but went on to lose an exciting game 3-1.
A big congratulations to Scott Mosher, Mark Gacek, Matt Wood and Angus McLean, the coaches of the young Hawks teams.
The Hawks Club was the host of the tournament and a special thanks to all the parents who helped by bringing ice, sitting at the technical table, picking up equipment and setting up and taking down the equipment.
Good Luck to the graduating players of the age group, Dave Wade, Matthias Munch, Ian Humphries, Graydon Bensler, Ray Helgason, Nicholas Bilinski and Cam Munsie. We hope to have you back as senior members of our club.
